About MexDecor

Our small family business started in 1997 when we opened our shop in downtown Blowing Rock, NC. At first, we did not know what kind of shop we where going to be. We planned on selling home and garden decor.....like many other shops in town. On our very first trip to Americas Mart in Atlanta, Ga we stumbled across a small vendor selling Mexican Chimineas. Although, we had absolutely no idea what a Mexican Chiminea was, we where intrigued by the item. We ordered five for our little shop....the purchase of these five chimineas changed our business forever. Our shop transformed into a specialty store offering all types of home and garden art from Mexico. We enjoyed operating our little shop for 25 wonderful years.

We no longer have our little downtown shop, but we are committed to providing to our customers on the internet the best of Mexico. We enjoy traveling to Mexico to personally pick our wonderful treasures. Over the years, we have developed strong business relationships and friendships with very talented Mexican Artisans, we have even developed some of our own designs for them to create!
