Our Mexican Talavera Turtle planting pot steals the show! Our Turtle is very cute and colorful, take a look at the eyelashes! Each turtle is hand painted with creative multi color designs.....so fun! They are surprisingly heavy for their size and very nice. A great gift for the nature lover. Made in Delores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico.
The turtle color and pattern shown will be shipped; however, due to hand painting, slight variations are to be expected.

Due to the nature of hand painting, each piece of Talavera is unique and beautiful, variations and imperfections are to be expected and are normal. This only adds to the uniqueness of each piece, each piece is a individual work of art.

This is absolutely beautiful. The paint is vivid and glossy, and it feels sturdy. I saw a sign for Talavera pottery last summer, looked it up online, and loved the bright colors. My husband asked me to show him an example, so I sent him this page in a chat message, He saved the page and gave it to me for Christmas. Not knowing I was choosing a gift, I didn't read the description, so I didn't know it was a planter. I **** even indestructible plants, so I haven't decided what to do with her yet. I anthropomorphize all of my inanimate animals, and this one's name is Macha. She's currently on display in my art room.
