Meet the most character-filled creature in the Gerardo Garcia collection — the Talavera Catrina Cameleon (Chameleon). This one-of-a-kind ceramic chameleon perches atop a hand-painted rectangular Talavera base, head tilted with attitude, cigar firmly in mouth. With a white skeleton body, vivid green head, and a long curled tail, this Catrina chameleon is equal parts funny, bold, and unforgettable.

Hand-crafted and painted by artisans from Gerardo Garcia’s collection in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico. The head is removable for safe shipping. The exact piece shown in the photos will be shipped.

Day of the Dead is a beloved Mexican holiday celebrating life — a day of remembrance to honor loved ones who have passed. The Catrina is one of its most iconic symbols.
