This cheerfully hand-painted Mexican sugar skull (calavera) is a beloved symbol of Día de los Muertos — the Day of the Dead. Crafted by skilled artisans in Jalisco, Mexico, each piece is made from clay and painted in bold, vibrant colors. The sugar skull shown is the exact piece you will receive — no two are alike, making each one a truly unique work of folk art. Perfect as a seasonal decoration, ofrenda (altar) centerpiece, or a meaningful gift for the Mexican folk art collector.

Measurements (approximate):

  • Height: 5.00 inches
  • Width: 5.00 inches
  • Depth: 6.50 inches

Care Instructions:

  • Display indoors, away from direct sunlight to preserve the hand-painted finish
  • Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth — do not use water or cleaning products
  • Handle with care; this is a delicate work of art
  • Not recommended for outdoor use
  • If desired, use a battery-operated tealight only for illumination — do not use an open flame

Due to the handcrafted nature of this piece, slight variations in color and finish are expected and add to its one-of-a-kind character.
